Full ride review — SLINKY DOG DASH! Join the Dis-Kids at Disney World! POV fun 2020, Hayden & Melody

Hi I’m Hayden! Hi I’m Melody! And we are the DIS-KIDS! Today we are going to be riding Slinky Dog Dash! Please Like and Subscribe! Thanks for watching 🙂 Slinky Dog Dash is a family-friendly rollercoaster that is fun for almost all ages. The coaster opened with Toy Story Land on June 30th, 2018. It is located in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The theme of Slinky Dog Dash is that Andy, the boy from the Toy Story movies, built this himself in his backyard… using his Mega Coaster Play Kit plus other random toys. It’s very colorful, especially at night. Imagineers designed Toy Story Land so guests are the size of small toys… so on Slinky Dog’s queue line, you see giant blocks, pencils, thumbtacks, army men. Everything is oversized to help the illusion. This roller coaster gets to a top speed of 40 miles per hour. It has a ride time of about 2 minutes. At the end of the ride, it concludes with Wheezy the Penguin singing “You’ve got a friend in me”. This lasts almost 1 minute, then the ride ends at the station for exiting and loading. This is a smooth ride, but it does go very high. It gives a great view of all of Toy Story Land. It has no inversions or loop-de-loops. It will operate in a light rain, but will close for heavy rain or for lightning in the area. The minimum height requirement for riding Slinky Dog Dash is 38 inches tall. Riders under 7 must be accompanied by someone at least 14 years old. The ride is handicapped accessible for riders that can transfer to a seat. Wheelchairs can pass through the entire queue easily. The standby time for this ride has always been incredibly long. Currently, Slinky Dog Dash is in the “Tier 1” FastPass group for Hollywood studios, along with Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway and Millennium Falcon Smuggler’s Run. A fast fast is highly recommended. Another option is to rope drop when the park opens, during mealtimes, or at the very end of the day when people are watching “Fantasmic” or leaving the park. Also morning or evening Extra Magic Hours could lessen the wait time. Now join us and ride Slinky Dog Dash! It’s exciting, fun… there’s a lot of cool turns, up and downs. Hi guys, we’re back with the Dis-Kids. Now it’s time to rate Slinky Dog Dash from A to F. Melody what’s your grade? I give it a B+ It’s a great ride, great for the entire family. But we definitely recommend the FastPass. It gets really long. Yeah, I give it an A+ It’s like my one of my favorite rides there at Disney. Also what she says, it has an incredibly long wait line. I remember one time when the park first opened, the line was all the way back at Launch Bay on the other side of the park. You want to grab a FastPass. So, my mom and dad’s grade is A- They think it’s a really good ride. So make sure to comment down below what your grade is for this ride. And make sure to Like and Subscribe, and we’ll see you guys next time on the… DIS-KIDS!
